Guided Translation Course with excerpts from the Precious Vase
Season 7 with Fabian Sanders
A series of 6, 2-hours online meetings every two weeks from 5-7pm (Italian time) in which we will focus on some parts of the Tibetan text of "The Precious Vase" by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
The "Precious Vase" is an ideal text for the study of Tibetan language. It features numerous quotes from a variety of classical texts linked by passages in modern literary Tibetan. The topics discussed are ideal to form an important basic vocabulary of Buddhist terminology.
The spring-easter 2020 schedule will be as follows:
MAY 13 and 27 5-7pm CEST
JUNE 10 and 24 5-7pm CEST
JULY 8 and 22 5-7pm CEST
The excerpt will be about the view (ལྟ་བ་)
All lectures will be recorded audio and video recorded and made available to students!

General infos and packages
In our meetings we use an online platform called zoom.us . You need to download the free basic version in order to be able to follow. You will receive the link for the class one day before or in the morning of the day the meeting is scheduled.
The one session option allows you to participate to one class of the 6 of the current cycle of lectures. Please write to m.pansa@shangshunginstitute.
The six lectures option allows you to participate to all classes of the current cycle. You will receive all the links to participate and the links to watch the recordings. The links will be available for 2 weeks after the end of the cycle of lessons. Please write to m.pansa@shangshunginstitute.
